1 - What is PPP - Perfil Profissiográfico Previdenciário?
It is a labor historical document that unite administrative data, environmental records and others elements, to demonstrate the performance of particular activities by the worker, with an effective exposure to harmful agents, giving the opportunity of granting special retirement (arts. 146/147, IN the 99 - 05/12/03).
2 - From when and what companies must elaborate the PPP?
From January 1 st 2004 the company will prepare PPP in a individual way for your employees, separated workers and cooperative workers who works effectively exposed to harmful chemical agents, physical, biological, or combination of agents harmful to health (art.148 -- IN 99).
3 - And what about the companies whose employees are not exposed to harmful agents?
After the implementation of PPP by the Social Security, this document will be required for all insured, regardless of the branch of activity of the company and of the exposure to harmful agents. It will be necessary to include information related to the risk ,ergonomic and mechanical factors (Art. 148, second paragraph - IN 99).
4 - What is the deadline for implementation on magnetic media?
There is no a specific limit time. It seems that during 2004 the magnetic system will be implanted .
5 –From January 1st, how can the companies demonstrate, before a possible inspection, the exemption of the PPP´s presentation?
This demonstration must be done by arising reports from two programs, implemented since 29/12/94, by means of the administrative rule 24 and 25 of the Ministry of Labor:
I - The Program for Prevention of Environmental Risks - PPRA – object of the Regulatory standard No. 9.
II - The Program for Medical Control of Occupational Health - PCMSO – object of the regulatory standard
6 - What to do to prevent the fine?
Only through the presentation of the reports related to these programs, prepared by qualified professionals, can the companies, in a full way to prove their exemption for the obligation to emit the PPP. The reports also serve to elide possible imposition of fines or even come to be used as a subsidy, in case of use for defense, in case of occurring any improper charging.
7 - How the Unions will be able to participate and collaborate with the companies to comply PPP´s standards?
The unions will be able to lead to recruitment of the professionals responsible for the preparation of these programs, giving an opportunity to control the quality of the provided services , and getting better prices for the provision of these services, and facilitating the unification of procedures, increasing reliability in prepared reports .
