THE DISASTERS CAUSED BY THE LAYMAN
The Supervision of the Regional Accounting Counsels has been finding difficulties to assess these people, for innumerous are the times in that, during the instruction phase of the process of survey opening, when the contravention tests are harvested, there appears legally enabled professionals, making themselves responsible for the services executed by the laymen. Thus, the very professionals collaborate with this illegal accounting practice, avoiding the eradication of such contravention by the Counsels. The professionals should make themselves aware that only the union can minimize the adverse and uncountable irregular proceedings that reach everyone, mainly the Brazilian Accounting Class, in order to move away the layman from our midst, in which the entrance doors of study and regular graduation find themselves democratically open for all. Considering all of the above, the State of Sao Paulo’s Regional Accounting Counsel feels compelled to alert the population in the sense that, when contracting the services of an accountant, always verify his or her professional empowerment and his or her reputation before the Accounting Class, and also before the clients, in order to avoid any future harm or problem.
